Kou has shown exceptional integrity in the face of uncertainty. When he noticed a potential issue with a part during inspection, he didn’t look the other way—he asked questions. His decision to speak up protected product quality and patient safety, modeled accountability for the entire team, and sparked a valuable discussion that led to process improvements.
His manager shared, “Kou is known for his outstanding attention to detail and collaborative spirit. Whether he’s catching subtle discrepancies others might miss or stepping in to support his teammates without hesitation, Kou consistently demonstrates what it means to lead with care and excellence. His sharp eye and team-first mindset make a real difference in our lab’s success—and we’re lucky to have him on our side.”
About the Team Player of the Month Program
The Team Player of the Month program at Velosity recognizes employees who go above and beyond! Employees vote each month when they see a co-worker demonstrating one of our core values, which include: Continuous Improvement, Integrity, Results-Driven, Customer Satisfaction, Collaboration, and Environment, Social, & Governance (ESG). All monthly nominees are entered into a drawing, and the winner is selected. The winner receives a gift card of their choice, while everyone nominated receives recognition at our monthly meetings.
