Congressman Pete Stauber made a stop at Velosity’s Forest Lake facility, joined by the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (FLACC).  Stauber and FLACC members were visiting manufacturing facilities in the Forest Lake area.

Stauber and FLACC members toured Velosity’s Forest Lake manufacturing facility, looking at the diverse range of products that Velosity produces.  In addition to showcasing our products, we also highlighted Velosity’s capabilities in tool design and manufacture, injection molding, precision machining and contract manufacturing. The tour demonstrated how Velosity can provide a comprehensive solution to our customers, from initial design to final production.

FLACC and Stauber were very interested in how Velosity attracts and retains employees, offering them opportunities to develop new skills and take on new responsibilities, which has helped us retain employees. We also discussed our internship program, which gives students and young adults a first-hand look at the manufacturing industry and technical careers.

Velosity has a strong company culture and values its employees’ contributions. During the tour, several employees were able to engage with the congressman about their accomplishments at Velosity.  “It was a very positive experience for all.  Our employees, who take great pride in their work, were able to share what they do with the congressman, “said Kelly Stichter, General Manager.
