Manufacturing Development Engineering Supervisor

Adam Critton was nominated in September for Lead by Example in recognition of his dedication to his team, Velosity customers, and the success of the Medtronic Liberant program.
In addition to managing his team and supporting other Velosity customers, Adam has served as the primary Manufacturing Engineering contact for Liberant. He has played a key role in developing fixtures, establishing assembly process parameters, testing and configuring the assembly line, and preparing critical documentation, including PFMEAs and control plans.
Adam has also taken on several complex challenges throughout the program, including thread engagement, cracking during sonic welding, scratches on highly cosmetic surfaces, open configuration changes, and lot qualification activities. Through focused troubleshooting and root cause analysis, he has worked through these challenges while keeping the customer’s needs and program success at the forefront.
Adam’s willingness to take ownership, support his team, and go the extra mile for customers is a great example of what it means to Lead by Example. Congratulations, Adam, and thank you for your continued commitment to Velosity and our customers!
About the Team Player of the Month Program
The Team Player of the Month program at Velosity recognizes employees who go above and beyond! Employees vote each month when they see a co-worker demonstrating one of our core values, which include: Continuous Improvement, Integrity, Results-Driven, Customer Satisfaction, Collaboration, and Environment, Social, & Governance (ESG). All monthly nominees are entered into a drawing, and the winner is selected. The winner receives a gift card of their choice, while everyone nominated receives recognition at our monthly meetings.
