Jon consistently demonstrates Velosity’s core values through his commitment to supporting teammates, mentoring others, and continuously expanding his own knowledge. He is known for his collaborative approach, willingness to learn, and dedication to helping our teams navigate complex challenges while remaining focused on shared goals.
Jon’s impact has been especially evident on programs involving complex technical requirements and evolving customer needs. He helps his team stay focused and moving forward through program challenges, creating clarity and alignment while ensuring concerns, obstacles, and scope changes are addressed constructively.
One of Jon’s greatest strengths is his collaborative approach. He actively listens to technical concerns, helps teams navigate priorities, and takes the time to understand the purpose behind our quality processes rather than viewing them as administrative requirements. His willingness to learn and engage in areas such as pFMEA and control plan development has helped strengthen cross-functional collaboration and overall team effectiveness.
Jon consistently strives to balance the customer’s expectations with operational, manufacturing, and technical realities while creating an environment where team members feel supported and respected. His leadership, teamwork, and commitment to the success of others continue to make a positive impact across our organization.
About the Team Player of the Month Program
The Team Player of the Month program at Velosity recognizes employees who go above and beyond! Employees vote each month when they see a co-worker demonstrating one of our core values, which include: Continuous Improvement, Integrity, Results-Driven, Customer Satisfaction, Collaboration, and Environment, Social, & Governance (ESG). All monthly nominees are entered into a drawing, and the winner is selected. The winner receives a gift card of their choice, while everyone nominated receives recognition at our monthly meetings. In 2024, we had over 265 employees nominated!
